The fashion industry just won’t let us keep up with all the latest trends it’s introducing, but truth be told, there are certain items that will never, ever go out of style. Such items are timeless, and regardless of the fashion style you’re nurturing, they will always be fashionable and easily combined with whatever trend comes along. Such garments are perfect for any woman in the world, but especially for all 30-something gals who feel they’re too old to keep up with the latest crazy fashion trends, but yet too young to settle on a certain fashion style. So, without further ado, what are the top five items that all woman in their 30s should own?
The Plain White Tee
We’re not talking about the band, but, guys, great job on naming it! It seems that the plain white t-shirt has been in the fashion industry since forever, and luckily, it doesn’t seem that this trend will die out. There’s nothing prettier than combining a basic t-shirt with the latest pants, jeans or skirts – it will always do the job. Moreover, there is a plethora of t-shirt choices you can go with. Firstly, you can choose the plainest t-shirt there is, meaning without any logos or prints. You can always make it more interesting with adding a couple of accessories, such as a signature necklace. However, there are also plain white t-shirts with a minimalistic print, such as a quote or a small portrait stencil. These ones are also very fashionable and totally timeless, so if you feel like spicing it up a notch, you can choose one with a nice, motivational quote on the chest. Combine it with literally anything, and there you go.
White again, but who are we to say which colours will be timeless and which won’t? White sneakers can, just like the white t-shirts, be very easily combined with anything. Thanks to the athleisure trend, it’s even possible to wear sneakers with an elegant dress, and what better colour than white? While getting these, it’s very important to make sure which sneakers are fashionable at the moment, but you won’t go wrong with choosing the classic Adidas Superstar or the Converse shoes. Make sure to keep them clean and white, though, as nothing’s worse than dirty white sneakers.
First and foremost, the most important thing to have in your closet is the little black dress, as you never know when you’ll need to pull out a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” look. These are great for any type of event – a formal, semi-formal or a casual one, since you can make it both formal and informal depending on your choice of shoes and accessories. Moreover, it’s very important to have a different kind of dress as well, and you can browse through many designer dresses online until you find the right one. Getting them via the internet can save you time and sometimes even money. Always have this in your closet in case of any upcoming wedding ceremonies, as you really want to stand out from the crowd, and sometimes, the little black dress won’t do its magic.
The leather jacket
Regardless of whether you’re a bad girl or a goodie-two-shoes, owning a leather jacket is simply a must. Not only is it an excellent and powerful piece of clothing, it’s also timeless and can make any dull combination hella interesting. Here, you can opt for a multitude of choices, but you can’t go wrong with the all-time classic leather moto jacket. Finally, it’s always the best option for any spring or fall cup of coffee with your friends at the mall.
Just like the black dress or the white t-shirts, the black stilettos are a great asset to have in your wardrobe. They are so versatile that you can wear them on practically any occasion – either a walk in the park, going to the cinema, or a formal event such as a wedding ceremony or a dinner party. Just make sure to combine them appropriately, but luckily, there’s no piece of clothing you cannot combine them with. Since you’ll be wearing them very often, it’s of the utmost importance to have a pair that’s well-made and also very comfortable. Don’t save money on this one, black stilettos are very much worth investing in.
There you go – the five items every (30-something) woman should have in her wardrobe. We believe you have at least three from the list. If you don’t – what are you waiting for? Go and make yourself a timeless fashionista!
