Elegant-looking Photo Frame Using Glass Pebbles – DIY Dollar Tree Crafts

I have loved making stylish photo frame projects using exceptional materials that I usually found from all different craft stores. There’s also several ideas crafter’s been sharing which I find interesting coming out from dollar stores. It’s quite challenging if you think but there’s nothing impossible from hooked creative crafters!

Today I’m going to show you how to make an elegant-looking photo frame that makes such an amazing piece as an accent and décor in the house.

For this project, all I did was grab some supplies as shown below from Dollar Tree:

Photo Frame 5 x 7 in size

Glass Pebbles

Any glue or E600 (from Michaels Store)

You can use any glue that bonds well with glass and metal frame and in my case, an E600 from Joann’s store works well and I tried to use an Elmer’s glue and it did pretty well.

Instructions:

Unpack the pebble glass and try to play around with the color combination and design that you want. If you chose to use just one color make sure first that you have enough pebbles to use before you permanently glue them to the frame as once you stick it to it, it may not easy to take off.

You may first take out the glass and some backing from the frame to avoid breaking the glass accidentally or you don’t want to get any glue on it.

The next thing you want to do is to apply the glue using your glue gun to the flat side which is the bottom part of the pebble.

Once you’re done gluing the pebbles all the way around you’ll notice that the frame gets a bit heavy.
Leave it for at least a couple of hours to dry or depending on the type of glue you used.

When it gets dry, you may add any picture of your family, an artwork or image that you’d like. You can also hang it on the wall or place it on top of a cabinet or any table and it will be such a great decorative item and it’s so simple as that single item will only cost you around $2 from Dollar Tree.

Indeed, it’s a great gift item as well for wedding and birthday giveaways or a very simple gift for your family and friends. I hope you like it and happy crafting!
