As for me, there is no match for creating projects that cost next to nothing to make. One day, while I was reading an article from an online magazine, I found some clever projects that are very creative and I find it very suggestive of me to create a unique version of my own. One day, while I was reading an article from an online magazine, I found some clever projects that are very creative in nature and I find it very suggestive of me to create a unique version of my own. That’s when I also thought of creating a group on Facebook that I called ‘DIY Dollar Tree Crafts’. It will be my channel for exchanging and sharing projects with my fellow crafters and enthusiasts.

I was so surprised that my members grew rapidly and that every day I get so many requests from people all over the world who wants to join our group, sharing their projects as well as interacting with each other, and that inspires me a lot to create for more projects.
For today, I am going to share the first project I made. It’s a mini cupcake stand that I’ve always wanted to have and because I’ve been looking for a platform to use also for display during photo shoot with my cupcakes. It’s been very useful as well for taking pictures of my jewelry, accessories and tiny projects at Joyfully Handcrafted shop page on Facebook.

Below is a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to create it.

I started by gluing the terracotta pots on top of each other to form the base and have polished it around with Modge Podge. Then I sprinkled with gold glitters around as well and leave it for 15 minutes before I sealed it again with another layer of Modge Podge. I also made sure to cover the bottom with more glitter. Finally, I glued the round mirror with the base and there you have it! A quick and easy craft!

There will be more project to post soon and I hope you liked it guys and don’t forget to join our Facebook group: DIY DOLLAR TREE CRAFTS with members over 53k sharing their real amazing handmade crafts using materials from Dollar Tree!
