DIY – Brandy Glass Candle Light Centerpiece

DIY – Brandy Glass Candle Light Centerpiece

Today I am going to show you the steps on how to make a simple and splendid DIY – Brandy Glass Candle Light Centerpiece.  This centerpiece can be placed on top of any table, cabinet, or surface in the house.  It can also be used for any event as an inexpensive decoration.

Everything inside the bowl was purchased from the Dollar Tree; however, the big brandy glass bowl was purchased from a local Goodwill for only $2.00.  You can also look for bowls at neighborhood yard sales.

Here are the inexpensive materials that I used in this project:

Large ribbons in 3 different designs (you can pick and choose which colors you want at the Dollar Tree)

Gem bling – 1 pack

Elmer’s glue

Scissors

White pebbles – 1 pack

White small candle

Empty sardine’s tin can (washed well and cleaned)

Instruction:

Step 1:  Pour the pebbles inside the bowl and place the tin can facing down so that the candle can sit on top of it.

Step 2:  Cut the ribbons in 8 to 10-inch pieces and fold the edges of each ribbon to form a flower.  You may also use real flowers or other artificial flowers in place of the ribbons.  You can find those items at the Dollar Tree store as well.

Step 3:  Arrange the ribbons inside the glass bowl around the candle.  If you plan to light the candle, be careful that your decorations do not burn.  As a safety precaution, use tinier ornaments inside the bowl and place them at least 1 inch away from the candle.

Step 4:  Adding the gems (or “bling” as I like to call them!) is optional.  I added the gems around the rim of the bowl to make it look shiny and elegant.

And there you have it, simply beautiful!  You can put other ornaments inside the bowl to reflect the theme of your party or use other colors that match your home décor.
